    Testimonials

There’s something special about Glasshoughton Infant Academy. It’s the sense of belonging, the warmth of the people, and the shared belief that every pupil can achieve their very best. Our academy is filled with pride, ambition, and care, a community where every day, staff and pupils work together to create something truly special: a place where everyone feels supported, inspired, and proud to belong.

    Mrs E Redmore (Business Manager)

As the School Business Manager, I am incredibly proud to be part of the dedicated team that makes Glasshoughton Infant Academy such a warm, welcoming, and vibrant place for our youngest learners. While my role focuses on finances, operations, and resources, my ultimate goal is to ensure that our school community has everything it needs to thrive. I love working behind the scenes to create a safe, beautifully resourced, and smooth-running environment where our children can explore, learn, and grow with confidence.

Working collaboratively with our passionate staff, supportive parents, and the wider community to sustain the unique village that shapes these vital early years is a true privilege, and it is what makes our school such a special place to belong to.

    Mrs R Hutchinson (Teaching Assistant)

I love working at Glasshoughton Infant Academy because we are one big, supportive community where everyone genuinely cares for one another. Every day I feel privileged to play a part in shaping the lives of so many young people, watching them grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence. Being surrounded by colleagues who share the same passion for nurturing children makes our school feel like a second home, and I’m constantly inspired by the families, staff, and pupils who make our academy such a special place.

    Mrs R Fletcher (Nursery)

I love working at Glasshoughton Infant Academy because it is such a great, inclusive place to learn, where every child is valued for who they are. Our school community is incredibly nurturing, and it’s a joy to see our amazing children grow, flourish, and develop their personalities over the years. Watching their confidence build, their curiosity spark, and their achievements unfold is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. Being part of their journey — from those early steps to the proud moments of independence — is something I feel genuinely privileged to experience every day.
